No game night this friday (sorry)
Hi, folks!
this Friday would have been a game night (4th Friday of the month) but due to several conflicting factors, Matt and I won't be up to hosting.
the next probable game night here is May 8th. I'm thinking maybe some penny ante poker? or a $5 buy in or something? and a second table of whatever for the non-poker players. I'll send out notices later.
Speaking of notices, I'd like a better way of communicating game night (or lack there of). but i don't want to be ridiculously invasive in the e-mails. so please let me know which one or more of these would reach you...
1. suck it up sister, long winded e-mail is the best
2. a combination of LJ and Facebook will reach me
3. Yeah, i'd subscribe to a Yahoo Groups invite to stay notified
4. E-vite is the best party planning tool known to man, so use that.
5. actually, stop trying to contact me, it's not my thing
6. LOL my spouse/partner totally does all my planning, i'll show if he/she shows his/her email is ________
(opt) hey, El, you should totally add _________(name, e-mail and LJ handle) to your list, he/she/they'd totally love coming to game night.
I've been getting crash space questions. as always, there is 1 guest room, and a half dozen couches. first to ask me for a specific night gets the downstairs bedroom, but there is always space to sleep over, and blankets and pillows!
Also, this is an open house sort of thing, bringing a friend is always welcome.
