Construction Blues june 17
i feel like I've shirked my duty here. but the angst really didn't seem worth it.
Pella Came, and had ordered the wrong door. we will get our front door in a month. grrrrrr
the back stair was to shallow of a concrete pour, and they made it a good 1-2 inches lower than it had been, creating a long step where you bounce on concrete. but they fixed it, so feh.
now it's waiting. waiting for Pella to come in with the correct door (about the time i get back- Poor matt) and the newly poured concrete to get poured so they can put the finish on it. (mid - late July).
I'm glad we did this first mini-project so we could see how it goes.
talked to a landscaper today. he's going to clean up and weed lots. we're not planting anything new in front until the kitchen is done. seems prudent. ; -)
