School was a series of emails. But I didn't realise this when I woke. There was a power outage in the morning. How I knew? Alarm clock was not working.
But first time in 30 years, all classes cancelled for the day. I found out soon enough that the pine trees liable to chuck branches.
All the Professors were filled with glee. It was marvellous. And I got my English teacher's old copy of Burger's Daughter which is really cool though I have one ebook of it, and he also gave me free books. It's been awesome.
It goes:
Good morning students, Please be aware that branches are falling throughout campus. Pine trees are especially vulnerable to heavy snow. For your safety as you are walking, try to keep to open areas and avoiding walking under trees laden with snow. Also, there are power lines down along Longfellow Street. A reminder not to go anywhere near these lines, even if they appear to be dead.
