Yuki blog 2012/06/02

Jun 17, 2012 15:56

Yeah, this is late.  My computer forgot how to read Japanese during my hiatus and I had to hunt down a disc to fix it.  Anyway, here's the entry from the 2nd, and the other two should be done by end of day.  They are blissfully short.  Expect re-uploads of OneVeru within the week, and I'll start working on the other eps shortly.  I've been sitting on some scripts in an attempt to release in order, but you guys have waited long enough.

In any case, the link to the original for this blog is here, along with the pics.  I still don't post those since they aren't mine.  Please don't repost these translations without permission, but just ask if you want permission.  I'm generally nice about that sort of thing.  Questions, comments, and corrections are always welcome, as usual.  And with that, on with the translation:

I’ve written quite a bit

Good day. (・∀・)

It’s Yuki.

Going into June, it’s really hot.(;´Д`)

Well then, well then, I haven’t written anything since returning from Russia. (^▽^;)

The day after getting back to the country was the final day of our Spring Tour in Takasaki.

(tour poster)

Because this time, we only toured in the Kantou area, it was sad that we couldn’t meet a lot of people from different areas, but the places we did visit we are super fun. (^-^)
I’m grateful to everyone who came to see us and to our staff.☆

After that, we were recording a live for television.

We were performing “Rose”, which will release on 7/4, since we were performing this for the first time in one shot, it was really nerve-wracking. (><;)

Please look forward to the broadcast. ☆

After that was meetings, practice, a live I was invited to,  and a birthday party, etc…

(birthday cake)

Ah,  I also did my mountain club solo activity. (^▽^)

(trees)

This is Tokyo’s 23rd ward’s only valley.

(killer Japanese stairs)

Being surrounded by greenery, it was so cool and felt lovely. ☆

(more trees)

Somehow, it’s all pictures of my off hours. f^_^;

That reminds me, this time, I got a contract with the cymbal maker “MEINL” and the stick maker “Wincent”. (≧▽≦)

MEINL is centered in Germany and I’m published on their homepage here.

Of course their sound is good, and they have a lot of effect types, so they are fascinating cymbals. ☆

I used them in the recording for “ROSE” (・∀・)

I used 5A Hickory sticks.

The wood hits well and is hard to break, so I was able to get a sound with a good core to it. ☆

I’m still testing it, but I think I’ve found my perfect sticks.

Until next time~ (^-^)
