Yuki blog 2011/08/19
This is a much more subdued blog from out dear Yuki, as well as a reminder that things are only slowly returning to normal for the people affected by the March earthquake and tsunami. The original for this blog is here and you guys know the rules.
Earthquake (＞＜;)
Right after we arrived at the Sendai airport, we were surprised by an earthquake. (＞＜;)
They’ve already cancelled the tsunami advisory, but I hope everyone is okay.
There was a lot of rubble and broken cars and such around the airport, and our chauffer told us while driving that there used to be a lot of houses in that area.
I thought they had cleaned up the city quite a bit, but when I saw the extent of the damage, I got a pain in my chest.
Since we’ve finally come to Sendai after a postponement, tomorrow we all will do what we can with all of our power!
