Bandwidth explosion
If anyone has tried to visit elffetish.com this afternoon, you'll have seen that the site is down due to bandwidth issues. To anyone wondering why all the graphics have disappeared from the Lizard Council: this is why.
In however many years of operating the site, bandwidth has never been an issue. Usually, less than half of my allotment is used. This month, however, from looking at the file logs it would appear that forums.lotro.com discovered the Sindarin Name Generator and people have been going wild. Large online forum + large files + constant usage = bandwidth exceeded.
Luckily, March 1st is imminent and everything will reset. I believe the site is hosted in Australia, so it'll likely be back up tomorrow afternoon on North American time.
