football is life
football has made its comeback in my life. an acquaintance, buddy, texted me that his group of friends had resumed playing at cuenca park, so i decided to go on up and give it a shot. 8 people including myself showed up initially, so we made do with a mini-field four aside. after about 10 minutes, 2 more guys show up making it five aside. it was the perfect start for me as my stamina has not reached its old level yet.
the guys there were pretty welcoming. i just might start going there regularly. the only downside to all of this are the unholy hours, but that's probably a blessing in disguise since night football means no sun.
all this thought on football has led me to reminisce on my recent secret last ditch effort for a future in football - trying to study in england to join a football club and hopefully get better. but ohwell, that's what sons are for - to fulfill the shattered dreams of their fathers. hahaha.
