Interviewy
I have an interview this afternoon in Ira, Michigan... Where the heck is Ira, Michigan, you ask? Well, its basically at 26 Mile Rd & I-94 - a little more than half way between I-696 and Port Huron.
The job itself seems like it might be interesting, but so far, I have not been overly impressed. After requesting a copy of the job description via email, I've got nothing. Their "press releases" are written more like blog entries, somewhat rambling and overly friendly style. I basically, have done nothing to prepare for it, since I'm not entirely sure what I'm preparing for. Oh well. They called me and talked about a "Marketing manager" position, which I tried to clarify a bit while on the phone but they refered to the job description, which I don't have.
Anyway, the commute (even for 1 day) is going to suck. I'm guessing it will take me about an hour and 15 minutes to get from there home at 5pm tonight. I'm pretty sure I'll need beer when I'm done.
In other news, Sandy has her surgery this morning - she sent me a text yesterday that the surgery was scheduled for 5:45am! Yikes! Hope you are doing well, Sandy!!
Update: Almost as soon as I posted this, I received the job description. It's interesting, sort of a jack of all trades marketing position. They would like someone with experience with "InDesign"... Hmm...
