Hello strangers, long time no see.
1. I will concede, 45 F might be too cold for shorts and sandals. Not that I didn't go around in said shorts and sandals. It's really just too much trouble to put on propper shoes and pants after you've been playing ultimate in the rain for 2 hours. I'm Californian, what can I say. We don't get "weather." We have seasons. 2 of them! And they stay around forever so you can enjoy them.
2. I did NOT get sick. Hot and Sour soup is still the world's best cold buster.
3. I have finally seen The Princess Bride. All it took was dinner and a cuddle. I will quote it more often from now on. My nerd credentials are a bit more secure.
4. I may or may not have agreed to go ballroom dancing in a tuxedo on New Year's Eve. I may or may not have done so completely voluntarily. Apparently, if you want to get me to do anything, you just have to ask in an English accent with a hint of Irish lilt.
5. I win at chosing restaurants.
6. I may or may not have been late to work today because I was snogging.
7. I have to wait until JANUARY to find out about Olympic tickets. I would like to know NAO if I owe $1800 or not. But, then again, waiting until January supposedly increases my chances of getting said tickets. And if I don't get them, there is a vacation to Hawaii with The Crew that will happen.
8. Any such talk in December is ludicrous, but gosh darn it if I'm not excited by the prospect of playoff hockey turning out well for my guys this year.
9. Confessions are healthy, especially when followed by kissing.
10. Nat is freaking amazing. If you ever want to kill me, just intercept her care packages and add hemlock and I'll go out with a smile on my face.
11. We need to find adjectives for Mallory other than adorable. If she monopolizes it, it's not fair to the future Coburn baby who deserves a fair share of adorable mentions too. Also, was it just me, or did E have a bit of "Mommy Glow" going on in the pictures?
12. I still give a damn about accents from Alabama and New York, just so you know.
13. Haven't written in a few days. I'll take drabble prompts.
14. Gorramit if there isn't a lot of chocolate lying around the office.
15. When you stop and think about it, the sheer amount of repairs that need to be made to a house at any given time can bring you to the edge of tears.
16. Word games are still fun.
