Just a quick little note...
God didn't make love; God is love. However, God does "make love" to each of us all day everyday. When the sun catches your eyes just right and they pretty girl notices and smiles at you, God is making love to you. When you are down and want more than anything for people to just stop trying to cheer you up and someone just happens to know the exact right thing to say to brighten your day, God is making love to you. When your mind is deadlocked with worry about the ways or things of this world and the child in line behind you at the store asks her mother the most embarrasing, inappropriate question and your own involuntary giggle distracts you from yourself for just a moment, God is making love to you.
And you can make love to Him too. When you smile and look at the pretty girl's eyes instead of intentionally letting her catch you do the whole "once over" of her body, you are making love to God. When you give in to that inspiration to cheer up someone who's down, you are making love to God. When you smile and wave at the little kid in the store who's sad because her mom wouldn't buy her what she wanted, you are making love to God.
That's what worship is; showing God and the world that you care more about them than yourself.
