Well... WE GOT THE HOUSE!!! woot woot!!! Closing is July 24th and we are freakin' stoked!! Although, it has been a bit of a pain recently b/c all i ever do now is clean and pack my old room. tre' blah! The dust is killin me.. i mean really, where the hell did all this dust come from anyways? i totally dusted that room at least once....a year :P Ok not that bad, but its pretty sucky. Top that with the fact that i have tonsilitis and you have a visual. BUT.... it is coming along. you can see the floor in *gasp* MOST of the room!!! (Meg knows this is a miracle). Im just ready to be in MY house so i'll put up with the crappy packing stuff. im ready to decorate and paint and just generally have my home
Did i mention I have tonsilitis? what the crap. this shit sucks!!! I'm on 2 types of medicine adn thankfully im done with one today. this crap has been brutal. it makes my eyes hurt and tear up all the time and it makes me very hungry... not a good thing when i am trying to recommit myself to a diet before the wedding. its been hard with being sick. =/ And to top that, Nick got hurt on the 4th of July and his finger is un-useable and, love him to death, but he has really gotten the better end of the deal. he has done so little cleaning i could kill him!! but i dont... gotta love him. he's so pathethic being hurt. i have to help him bathe and stuff. aww. and he is sick too so i feel for him, but he will get him when we get into the house! BWAHAHAHAAH!!!
So i have this new addiction... www.theknot.com. it is my #1 wedding resource (and i cant pry myself away from the boards). The ATL gals are great. We had a RL (thats Real Life for you non-computer lingo people) get together last Saturday at Jillians and it was awesome. lots of girlies chatting abotu weddings and tons of other random crap. Food was great and all that jazz.
dammit... im hungry... anyways...
So our house: 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ranch with a large fenced backyard. I'll post pics sometime soon. I really like our little house. It is in no way going to be our final home, but is a great starter home and place to start building some EQUITY!!! and we just love it :)
Wedding planning is going fabuloso!! I'm just ultra busy with it b/c it makes my brain freeze. At least its not the only thing I think about anymore. it was to the point to where i would wake up thinking about it adn go to sleep thinking about it. I got the major things covered so from here on out its details (well except for the music... thats another biggie). Im really looking forward to my bridal shower. i think it will be fun. :) I hope my cake is tasty LOL. I wonder how much the cake lady would charge for a normal cake... although publix is good too LOL. Its not my decision or anyhting so i guess i dont really care... i just want cake. Man that sounds superficial... maybe its just cause i want food.
dammit... still hungry....
WELP, i guess i better get back to work even though it is slow as christmas adn i dont really have anyhting to do... maybe io'll go back to the knot boards! hehehehe
