Wookie

I has a kitty! FINALLY! Got him on the fifth! As you can see from the subject, his name is Wookie. He's currently trying to get my attention by being bad. He is both incredibly smart and incredibly stupid.

For instance: If he REALLY wants attention? He does what he isn't supposed to do. Seriously. Because then I pick him up to stop him from such activities (playing with wires, curtains, etc) and PUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Though now I've started yelling at him. And distracting him with jingling balls. He likes jingling balls.

Now, for the stupid. He runs around and around and around and around and around and BAM! into a wall. Head first. Then he shakes his head a bit. RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN BAM! into a door. Head first.

But ah well. It's cute. He's not declawed yet (WAY too young for that), but his claws were trimmed at the shelter so...he's kind of pathetic at climbing up things. Which bodes some good fortune for my curtains (though not very much, since he is DETERMINED). But I feel bad for him, because when he's coming from his favorite spot in the kitchen and wants to get on the couch with me...he has some trouble. And then MEEEEEEEOW. MEEEEEEEOW. MEEEEEEEOW. Until I pick him up. He actually whines a lot. He forgets where I am when he goes to eat/drink/do his business. He also announces when he is doing such things. Meeow, I'm eating. Meow, I'm drinking. Meow, I'm using the litterbox. Meow, I'm getting into something I shouldn't. Meow, where are you? Meow, pick me up. Meow, yay I'm in your shoe. etc.

The only downside is that it's hard to play video games/ computer games when you have a kitten hanging onto your arm. Ya know...fyi.

Enough gooshing? I suppose. I need to steal the sis's camera so I can post pics.
