The Master told them to bring him the head of Maitimo Feanorion, and so a pack of large, scary evil wolves roam the woods surrounding the mansion in search of a certain Elf. They're eager for blood, though, and anyone they come across is a likely target. The pack is hungry.

T: Feel free to rip him to shreds, dear. *beams!*

Felix is out walking, late. Sometimes he does, especially on nights like recently when the nightmares have come back and he doesn't really want to be sleeping, because that would mean facing them. The rings on his fingers glitter a little in the darkness as he runs a hand through his thick, dark red hair, looking up at the canopy, following the trail without really thinking.

The glitter is like a beacon to the wolves as they silently surround him in the darkness of the trees. The red hair is only misleading for a few moments, mostly because of the darkness, but the wolves don't really care that it's not the Elf that they are after. They are hungry.

A deep, low growl echoes from the trees around Felix.

He wheels around, searching the darkness, starting to look more than a little nervous, backing up a little faster, lifting one hand to make a light above his palm, trying to see past the darkness.

Large, dark shapes around him slink further into the dark trees, large eyes flash red in the light before vanishing again. Another growl comes from behind him.

T: Don't kill her, but feel free to chew on her a little!

Firekeeper, padding through the woods on four legs and carrying a rabbit, heading back to the Mansion, not bothering to follow any paths, just weaving through the trees.

Slowly, one by one, large dark shapes will surround her in the trees, wolfish but not, reeking of wrongness and evil.

She lifts her nose and sniffs. Then stops, her hackles going up and growling, under her breath, dropping the rabbit.

There's an echoing growl from deep in the trees, a flicker of movement off to her side, something moving closer.

And that was so not cool of him. But the Elf in question is outside tonight, conveniently, pacing around near the edge of the forest, absorbed in thought and the usual wangst. Maengst? Unarmed, too! Absent a plothole, weapons are not so easy to come by.

T: Unfortunately, typist orders are not to kill him. Scratch him up as much as you want, though.

As they approach him the wolves are as silent as they can be, stalking carefully, it wouldn't do to lose this one, the master asked for him specifically.

It's so nice to feel wanted. Except, you know. Not.

At any rate, there's something unsettling about the treeline tonight, a sense of being watched, and he'd feel a lot better right now if only swords came through firey chasms intact. With a mistrustful glance at the forest, he begins to move away from it.

On a brief, growled order they start moving to try to surround him, still trying to remain unnoticed. They don't want him to get away.
