I am an assface.
I feel so horrible. I'm taking the SAT one more time in October before submitting applications, and so to keep things fresh, I'm supposed to meet with a tutor. Apparently I was supposed to meet him today, and I completely and utterly stood him up. Not only did something important come up and so I wouldn't have been able to go, but I also thought I was supposed to meet him tomorrow at the library.
Argghhh. I feel so bad. He says that he called my house phone and no one picked up - which is understandable, as no one was home. But he also says (in the email) that he called my cell phone, which is strange since my phone was on all day, and I didn't get any calls from him - it's in perfect working order, so maybe he wrote it down wrong...
I really hope he doesn't hate me when I see him for the rescheduled meeting...
In other news, to make myself feel slightly more cheerful,
jpsterr is back from Italia!!!! She's so lucky to have been able to stay a bit longer. The rest of us on the trip have been ridiculously jealous. That reminds me, I have to write an entry about my time there - though it won't be now. I'm still mulling over my absentmindedness.
