Mini-crisis over.
Will be applying to graduate school here at good ol' GSU for a Masters of Religious Studies. If I do not get into that, I will then apply for a Masters of Theology from Stubenville through their distance learning program. If I still do not get accepted, I will apply to the TEEMS program here at GSU, as well as the JET program I've been considering on and off for a couple of years. If I still do not get accepted . . . well, I will deal with that when it happens.
Seriously, though, I'm doing well in religious studies. And though it isn't theology, I'm still learning things that apply to my own faith and make me understand it better. As I told someone last week, I seem to have two different parts of my brain going at the same time during class. One, just trying to learn the information and come at the material from an objective point of view. The other, looking at things through my own "Catholic lens." It is quite entertaining. Though I have no intention of going into a career in religious studies, I think it is a good jumping off point for other things I want to do.

All I need to do now is sit down and budget out grad school, lasik surgery, and paying off my credit cards and I will be all good.
