Second day of class

Also second day of working out. Observations and thoughts thus far.

1) Not sure how it happened, but I didn't huff and puff and gag my way through yesterdays workout (about to go today, didn't have a chance this morning). My lungs actually felt good, if lungs can feel anything. And yes, it was a strenuous workout ( Read more... )

Yes, you will get used to the pace, although the first days/week will really suck. Yes, it will all be worth it, any self-improvement is, that is truly improvement, and not inflated "empowerment", which none of what you're doing sounds like. :-D

Thanks sweetie. Not entirely sure what you mean by "inflated empowerment" or if I am doing it or not. By I'll certainly try not to and to keep it merely in the realm of self-improvement. *winks*

Self-improvement = education (college, continuing education etc...) exercise (sport, dance, weight training, fitness classes etc...) deep introspection

Inflated self-empowerment = classes/courses/books that are touchy feely and spoon feed comfy sounding catch phrases and fluffy generic advice/ego-stroking (old Saturday Night Live's Stuart Smalley if you know the reference)
