And this has seriously damaged my ability to giggle...
Soooo... I was getting ready for work this morning... Got up really early and had a shower, ate some food, brushed my teeth, washed my face, bundled up (it's raining out), and was about to head out the door at 10am... When I remembered that I don't work until 11:30. Sigh.
I went to Ottawa last weekend to look around the University campus... And somehow I ended up not even going to the campus at all. Miranda met me at the train station and we went back to her place, then she had to work and so I went with her on the bus to downtown, where she works. She works right beside a HUGE mall, so I wandered around in there and also across the street in Starbucks and Chapters until she was done at midnight. Then we grabbed a bite to eat, went back to her place and went to sleep. She had school in the morning, and I went with her to wander around the Algonquin College building, and did some shopping across the street from it until she was done. Then we spent the rest of the morning running around trying to find a Tim Horton's, because I was dying without coffee, and then grabbed some lunch downtown... And then it was time to catch my train. Ha! Oh well. We drove past the campus multiple times (it is huuuuuge), and it was freaking ugly. Maybe I've been spoiled by the beautiful Queen's campus, I don't know. But I was not impressed by what I saw.
Anyways, I'm going up to Fleming College next Saturday to have a look around the campus and the city of Lindsay. We shall see.
