To go along the story, I also got a bit of a portrait done of the character before the gaming session today. I think the web-version looks a little better than how it printed out, but I figured I'd hand it in with the homework. Yeah, I'm a suck-up for GM homework.

Not bad for a few days of work after the muse finally smacked me in the head last weekend. The original sketch was completed during last week's game; the scanning, coloring and improvements were done yesterday and today, as I became reacquainted with PhotoShop and my little Intuos2 tablet. Also, considering that I've let my art sit for a few years... It was a good exercise to get my fingers back into shape, should the idea of a comic continue in my head. I would definitely need to get a little faster in the sketching, but that will happen as I get more used to PhotoShop and as I remind myself to loosen up and not fuss over the details too much.
The blade that is just peeking out from behind her may be getting nicknamed "NadStabber" after her rather ...unique use of the blade on a Bugbear. Well, really now. When someone 2'10 attacks a 8' creature, where do you think that knife is going to wind up?
