Luna - New Flavors
I know there are a couple women on my list that eat Luna bars, so I figured I'd spread the word about 3 new flavors I've found at my local store:
Cookies and Cream Delight - Not bad, though it's a little lacking in the cream flavor. Kinda like an Hydrox (not an Oreo) with no center. It's edible, but not as good as I was hoping.
Iced Oatmeal Raisin - A little better than the CnCD, but the icing is a bit mor eblah than the good stuff they normally do. However, it does taste a fair bit like an oatmeal raisin cookie, with plenty of raisins. Make sure you have something to drink with this one because it's dry. :)
Peanut Butter Cookie - Yum! Not as much peanut butter taste as I would like, but it smells so strongly like a good peanut butter cookie that it sorta fools the senses a little. Still good, but does require something to drink to go with it.
In the last two cases, I would probably recommend having some milk to go with them. I had water - since that's what I bring with me to work - and that just didn't seem to hit the spot. As these are trying to be "cookie" flavors, they would probably be just right with some milk.
Right now, my favorite is Cherry Covered Chocolate, with Chocolate Peppermint Stick as the runner up. Two of the new flavors will help give me some variety, since Caramel Apple was discontinued.
