I may be too hard on myself, but personally... I don't like this project. I'm not fishing for compliments. I did say I would post it. I don't have green buttons in the right size for the eyes and my paints are primarily in storage. (Plus, for a 5 year old, I wouldn't want to risk paint chipped off the eyes.) I need some ideas, though. I'm not sure if stitching stripes on it would help (and I'm not quite sure how I'd do that). However, this used up every last bit of the brown I bought (good thing I got more than I thought I'd need).
One thing - no pipe cleaners for the whiskers. I want this to be a soft toy, not something that pokes you when you hold it. The limbs are very mobile, as they are only lightly stitched to the body. (It's actually part of the original Teddy Bear design.) I could, however, try starching the whiskers to get them to poke out a little more.
Ideas?
