Save Me, I'm Lost

Music at the moment:

Show Me What I'm Looking For-Carolina Liar
loveloveLOVE this song! No matter how tired I get of this song, I HAVE to come back because it just has elements in it that I don't find in other songs. Such as the chorus of people that sing the chorus at the end (Yea I'm not a music major or anything so whatever). It's very powerful. Also the lyrics! It's fairly religious, but the overall message is that it's alright to be lost and not be everyone you need to be happy and found. Music isn't somethingp I can explain coherently, but the lyrics speak to me most because it IS what I feel. I LOVE it when that happens.

Kid In the Corner-Bekker
This is a small band that I got introduced to through my sorority because they had a private concert for us. They were GOOD. It was the acoustic guitar, the djembe drum and a guy singing. And a tambourine sometimes I guess. But I like music pretty much naked. It goes like this: Cuz we have the rest our life to fall in love. It's strangely hopeful to me, even though it's supposed to be a sad song. But hope is never lost and trying to find the one you love. Also I love the part at the end where he goes falsetto. I love me some male falsetto as well.

All Tied Up-Bekker
This is just a good song mk? The chorus has a catchy beat also.

Fotographia-Nelly Furtado & Juanes
The ultimate love song. It's not a ballad but still has that nice pace of a mushy song. Plus the guy has a nice voice. And Spanish is sexy.

Knock You Down-Keri Hilson & Neyo & Kanye West
I LOVE the lyrics. Sometimes rap is just so damn clever. And again, it's just saying it's ok to think ahead to a house and kids and be knocked down because ITS NO BIG DEAL. It keeps me hopeful.

I usually don't like reminiscing since it makes me sad. It might be good times but they're OVER now. However, a little dose of music from the past brings back memories and emotions when I don't want to deal with the ones I have right now.
