(no subject)
1. I finally ordered our replacement froglet for the tadpole that didn't make it. Considering the fact that our remaining tadpole is about to be a frog, this is pretty exciting... we should have him sometime this week, in time for the big move into the aquarium! :D
2. I got a 123/130 on my first hearing exam, which is one of the highest grades in the class. I'm still ridiculously proud of myself.
3. I'm meeting with Prof. Colburn next Thursday. THE Prof Colburn, head of the Hearing Research Center. We'll be discussing... everything. Perhaps even sorting out where I might find volunteer/RA positions. Oh man, wouldn't that be fricking sweet.
4. I have room in my schedule for EITHER third or fourth semester Italian. Seriously, my heart is singing at the mere IDEA of taking a language again. I've missed that more than I miss sailing and theatre combined, pretty much.
5. Ummmmmm, okay. Courses offered in the convenient time slot previously mentioned include (in no particular order):
i. Italian 3
ii. Italian 4
iii. Japanese 2
iv. German 1
v. Arabic 1
vi. Hebrew 1
vii. History of the Spanish Language which sounds like the coolest fucking thing EVER but which may be out of my league as far as Spanish is concerned...
6. Okay. Okay. Okay. Sailing, also offered in a way that fits so effing nice into my schedule.
IF:
- I keep this course schedule
- I get to take a language
- I get to go sailing for a month at the end of the semester
- I get to volunteer in a lab
