I almost forget to post.

I've been busy lately, and working on various things, which are all in different stages...

My room is about... maybe two fifths (?) done... a bit more tossing and some organizational overhaul needs to happen, but i've sorted through a lot already. My goal is to get the main bulk of my room done on Saturday, when Andy's with the guys working on the car* (because that worked really well last time), so that I'll just have the closet to get through (which honestly isn't too bad).

I'm (mostly) eating healthier and walking a couple times a week. I want to increase that in the near future, in about a week or two, and see how that goes. I really need to pick up some sweatpants or something: I've been walking in an old pair of jeans when it's chilly out.

Actually sat down and finished my taxes today. Between the Feds and the State, I should be getting about three hundred bucks back. Woo!

I turned 25. It's a nice round number.

Andy got me my first moleskine notebook (I've been eyeing them for at least a year now, and just never got one for myself). He remembered that I had wanted to really start writing again, and now I don't have an excuse! So I've been writing a little bit every night before bed, just to get in the habit of getting words on paper again. I'm really enjoying it; I've missed writing a lot. I'm entertaining the thought of participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this year, and I think I'll be able to pull it off (at least a Novella, anyway) If I keep up the practice.

My drawing projects are at a bit of a standstill at the moment; postponed while I get my room situated. As I do so, I can also take stock of all of the art supplies I have squirreled away, and use them to my advantage.

And there's more than that, too. That's just the (mostly) active stuff. I really should start making "To Do" lists for the week... I think I'll start that up this weekend, and post it in my room somewhere.

Also: Oh man, I'm so excited about Project Runway right now. I can't wait to see what the final four have to show!

*Andy and a bunch of his buddies are working on a car for the 24 Hours of LeMons race in May. Their team site can be found here. He's really excited about it. And it sounds like my dad and Carrie might check out the race, since it's up in Altamont, which is a stone's throw from them.
