List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now, shaping your spring. Post these instructions in your LJ along with your 7 songs. Then tag 7 other people to see what they're listening to.

1. Joe Diffie - A Night to Remember

This has to be my favorite song of his.  I'm sure most people have never heard of him, but he had a successful country career in the 90s.  The song is different than his other music, seeing as its not so silly and well ... country hick.  It's soothing and well ... I enjoy the idea of this guy reminiscing over a lost love.

2. Travis Tritt - Tell Me I Was Dreaming

I have to include this song, because I never grow tired of it.  It's from the 90s country genre (again), but I love this man.  Many of his hits are just so emotional.  I remember watching his video for this song when I was younger and crying ever time.  It was just so earnest sounding.  I even connected this song to my Dasey fandom.  I think it's because I sort of see Derek in some of the songs.  Underneath the "tough guy" exterior lies a man who will do anything for the people he loves.

3. Ayumi Hamasaki - Moments

I probably just lost everybody here, except for my buddy Ashley.  This song made me a Japanese pop music fan.  So you can't understand a word she says ... big deal!  I've learned the chorus of this song and can sing it fairly well.  It just has a beautiful tune and I love Ayumi's voice.  And well, it's fun to sing in Japanese!  It really is.  I also love how the lyrics relate to nature.

4. Elton John - Something About the Way You Look Tonight

Well, I didn't feel the need in repeating "Philadelphia Freedom," so I chose this other favorite of mine from Sir Elton John.  I'll belt this one out too in the car whenever it plays.  The music just grabs me and well ... I can't help myself.  I'll drum my hands on the steering wheel, and yeah, it's a sight to see.  I'm also a sap for romantic music like this.  I really am.

5. Lalaine - Always Too Good to be True

I typically don't like the club/techno music scene, but I find myself drawn to this song.  I think part of it is because I think it would work extremely well for a Dasey video.  So I blame part of my love for this song on that.  But still, I find myself dancing to the beat and just enjoying it.  It's a different sound for Lalaine, seeing as I have her debut album "Inside Story" sitting at my apartment.  That CD contained many more slow songs that were more soulful and well ... acoustic.

6. Billy Joel - Vienna

So I fell in love with this song when watching "13 Going on 30."  When I bought the soundtrack, I looped this song a ridiculous amount of times.  It's just wonderful Billy Joel music.  You have to love it.  That's all there is to it!

7. Chicago - Saturday in the Park

Good ole' Chicago music.  This music just gets me in a good mood.  I really have no idea why, but it just makes me happy.  I guess it just sets that mood of the 70s in my head.  Who knows ... I just like it.
