Not much has been going on around here (it's St. Clair, were you surprised by that comment? If so, you've either 1. never been here, or 2. never heard ryan and me talking about being here, or 3. both). I've pretty much just been working, sleeping, and reading. <--*especially enjoys that last part* What? There's such a thing as having time to read? :p
I've decided to pick up yet another series. I'm reading Guilty Pleasures right now, which is NOT some kinky novel, although I wouldn't go as far to say it doesn't have sex in it. I don't really know, I haven't gotten that far into it :p. It's the first Anita Blake vampire hunter novel. My mom has them all, and my brother suggested I read them, and then angelar mentioned them while we were at Borders. So, I thought I'd try them out. The first one is pretty good so far.
I'm so sluggish here lately though. I guess that's what going from a sit-on-your-ass for maybe 8hrs a week to a stand-on-your-feet-all-day for 36 hrs. a week will do to you. Not to mention they run me pretty much everywhere in the store because I'm one of few that knows every position. Apparently from last time I was home until now, we've picked up a pretty much entirely new crew (excluding some few). We're horribly understaffed, which is never a good thing (especially on Friday nights; I had no less than 4-5 people yell at me and/or Heather [shift manager last night] for taking too long with their orders.). So, iffun you're looking for a job, St. Clair McDonalds is definitely hiring. On the plus side, Heather told me last night that she was willing to work with me on my Zone Management training, so maybe by the end of the summer I'll be getting paid for the position I do but don't officially have? :p
My mom randomly decided that she might apply there, but if she does, she's going to try and work breakfast. She's going to wait until after her nerve conductivity test, though, because her left arm has been inflamed and at times it's numb and at other times it hurts like arthritis or something. There's a little bump on her wrist to go with it, which is why they're doing the test AND giving her anti-inflammatory meds.
Anyone seen Pirates 3 yet? Is it good?
Well, I guess I'll get off here. It's storming something pretty nasty outside, and mom wants to shut the computer down.
