Possible sequel in the making too, if you're interested, so watch this space, so to speak. :)

Bad Sherlock. No biscuit.
John went very easy on Sherlock in just saying that Lestrade didn't need him to finish the chase, and not bawling him out rather more thoroughly...
I agree - the mundane nature of the accident that brought Sherlock low does seem typical of the man, that he'd have an ordinary Achilles heel like that. :)

Yes, Sherlock is an idiot, and probably deserved more of a telling off from John! But I kind of reasoned that what with the concussion, John would probably be more concerned with treating his injuries than shouting at him, at first - and then he got rather distracted, didn't he? =P
The sequel is currently in progress but I haven't posted it just yet. Probably very soon. It is called "Fire Storm" and I am on the 12th chapter - probably the last not including the epilogue, but if it stretches too long there might be another. Watch this space!
Yes, I did. I just re-read this and cringed at my typos. It also says "winching" where it should say "wincing", and knowing me there's probably more I didn't notice even though I proof read about five times before posting. I'll fix that now. Thanks! :)
By the way: love your icon - it's brilliant! XP

Oh yes, I get that. :) Quite right of course.
About my icon - yep, one of red_scharlach's Cabin Pressure icons. :)
