Mask and art supplies photos

First I'm going to start off with some photos I took of myself earlier tonight, two of these are now my new icons:)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------~

Now for the materials I've mentioned in earlier posts:

-This stuff I'd like to use on a mask at some point as it has a very nice blue/purple shimmer to it when light hits it at differant angles. It's very soft and supple.

-This is the purple fabric I bought yesterday and mentioned lastnight. The true color isn't captured very well in this photo, but it's pretty damned close. I'm definitely going to use this on a mask soon.

-These are the fibrous wools/yarns I mentioned in an earlier post. These are just awesome!!

-I don't think I'll be using this fabric on a mask..it's really colorful and lovely, but it's too sheer to work for what I want. Though, I could cut some long, thin ribbons from it for a mask, but otherwise...I want this for another project:)

-These are the feather trim I tried scanning some time ago...they didn't come out to well on the scanner, but here they look alot better. I want to make some choker's/collars from this stuff as well use it on some masks and costumes. Obviously I'll need to buy more to do everything I want, but it's pretty isn't it?:)

-This is some fabric I picked up over the weekend. The top photo is taken with the flash on and second is the same fabric but without the flash.
It's satin-like fabric with a purple/green shimmer to it when light hits it at differant angles. As you can see it's got an interesting paisley pattern to it. While I'm not generally into paisley, this stuff looked too cool to pass up at $2.00 a yard! This stuff is partly destined for a mask...the rest...I dunno.*shrugs*

-The little styrofoam berries I was talking about lastnight. I think they'll look cool on some masks:)

-The wing frame I've been working on for quite some time now. Eventually I'll finish it!

-The new mermaid mask I've started on. Got some ideas for it, but have put it on hold temporarily 'till I feel more "driven" with it.

-The bottom photo is an exact replica of the same mask I've built this red clay face onto. The bottom mask is to demonstrate my work on the mask versus what was already there.
I'm not happy with this ear, it's up too high and I now feel that it is entirely too small. So I will soon scrap it and start over.

Well, I know that that was alot to take in at once, but hope you enjoyed the orgy of arts and crafts:)
