(no subject)
One of the greatest things about college is that you can type livejournal posts, criticizing the stupid things about your classes, WHILE in class.
I love laptops.
I am usually too lazy to lug my laptop all the way over to class because it simply is too far and my laptop is too heavy for me, being the weakling that i am. But today I couldn't resist. I am looking forward to 75 minutes of Western Civilization Pre-test lecturing, and I don't think I can make it without being able to look at my beautiful new Supernatural desktop and feeling the wonderful escapism I find in Dean Winchester. :D
(I actually am taking notes as well, so don't worry).
Though I seriously don't want to make you all suffer Western Civ with me, I have to at least say that I am starting to get frustrated with the classes I am taking. My non-music classes are Western Civ, Ethics, and Intro to Political Science. All of these classes LAP OVER. We are literally talking about the SAME thing in EVERY class and its getting frustrating.

anyway, what i mean to say is...haha...well basically, for instance, Poli Sci defines oligarchy as a good form of government, and aristocracy as a poor choice --- while Western Civ defines them completely opposite. It just gets hard when I can hardly define either term objectively. C'mon people, just agree with each other!! How am i supposed to scrape by with pneumonic (sp?) devices if you all say different things?!
Looking at this study guide, I am reminded of Cultural Geography: boring, easy, sleep-worthy.

the filmmaker in me is crying out "Dear God, why?"
(or more like "Dear Ted and Terry, WHY?!?!?")
- but the nerd in me cannot be restrained! Johnny Depp has already signed on. Rumor is Geoffrey Rush is a-go as well. Expect ridiculously fangirly and detailed posts about every state of the production. I am so excited. I am so excited. I suddenly want to make fanvids now.
(Speaking of which: I found a "Truce" vid for Norrington the other day, and it almost made me cry. It was awesome, but I desperately want to remake it....BETTER...*wheels turning*)
just to give some perspective, I've been writing this post for 40 minutes. 40 minutes left....then I have an hour to eat dinner before rehearsal. We are starting choreography today. I'm excited to get to use my dance shoes again, as I haven't really used them in like 2 years.
I've been taking notes for those 40 minutes so now i'm going to go eat because i am starving
