after-effects of euphoria
god. it's amazing how a phone call from a hairless simian can ruin my day. here i was, happy because steve and my presentation during the HOPE teaching demo went well, and happy that i was able to *finally* complete my lit 194 handouts, when Sim-boy calls and i promptly get reprimanded for using my phone in the lib. (naka-auto answer ang phone ko.) he calls because "not everyone got flaubert handouts".
(a) it's not my fault if they were absent when i gave out handouts. everyone present got handouts. it's not my fault they didn't ask for handouts when they arrived in class, either.
(b) i posted an online version of the handouts sa groups. if it says "file not stored" in his computer, it's not my problem either. i've checked it in three different computers and it's always worked for me.

to think i almost missed the demo because i took one margarita too many. after the euphoria fashion show, i went out with koi and siao to Cantina, since timoy was treating us out to a pitcher of any random alcoholic beverage. obviously we got a pitcher of margarita, and enjoyed toying with the slush.
now, i know quite well i can down seven tequilas without feeling any adverse effects, aside from extreme languor the next day. like i can down ten shots of lambanog and around the same amount of vodka. but then, i've never drunk alcohol at three in the morning, tired from watching a Rivermaya concert and not having slept since the day before. i was still walking straight as we headed home - koi was weaving to and fro, and we were trying to sneak tim into his bedroom because tim had just watched The Maid with some gabayanos and he was f'ing scared to go home - but as we reached the pedestrian crossing in front of the bus stop of Cervini, i tripped and went flying. catching myself a few meters away, i say, quite distinctly, "i'm better feeling now."
crap! tinamaan na 'ko ng lintik!! tatlong margarita lang!
migoy naturally tells me to sober up because i'm giggling away stupidly... and i sleep until ten.
buti na lang 12:30 yung demo.
but my day's still ruined.
