how come everyone else leads such interesting lives?

today i broke my innermost molar on a porkchop bone that *just happened* to end up where it did. now my tooth has a jagged edge that scratches my tongue, and the half of it that is still there hurts more every passing minute.

that was the most interesting thing that happened to me today, unless you count the opening of the christmas bazaar in front of the dorm. aeon books is having a sale at their booth, so off i went and cleaned out my wallet (i had only around two hundred pesos left for the week) on books, completely forgetting i still had laundry to pay for and two days left before my next allowance comes in - hence i will have no sustenance save ten assorted fantasy fictions and cookbooks for two days. unless i can somehow get someone else to pay for my meals without any form of compensation. (that should be easy enough.)

unless, too, you count the fact that i went shopping with the King and Queen of Hearts themselves (and i spent the five hundred i was saving "for emergencies" on a couple of shirts)... it is so uncomfortable looking at the two of them together. isboy was right in what he said over lunch - i'm jealous over the big cee. perhaps that is why i will never like the king of her heart. then again, my grandfather used to be so jealous of my father when my mom first brought him home that he insisted my dad (them my mom's boyfriend) sleep on _his_ bed - and then lolo went to bed with a bolo in hand!

(speaking of bolos, there are miniature knives on sale at the bazaar for a hundred pesos each for a set of two. they have intricate handles and are less than the span of my hand in length - the blade of the larger would probably be around four or five inches long, the smaller just two. they're quite cute, and i want them very much. they also reminded me of Chia. the same stall sells ninja-type shuriken - the six-bladed throwing stars - and this ballpen that electrocutes anyone who tries to use it. a most interesting stall.)

i've just returned from a meeting with the DMC choir (what there is of it), actually more like with John Dy and a few others... the Variety Show has, apparently, failed to market enough and so has very little money... so now they want us to go Christmas carolling and share the booty. which we would have, seeing as we are a very charitable institution, if only they'd told us earlier. we could have set up preactices and all... as of now, we'll simply provide one person per voice as a point-person, and the VS people will have to provide their own members. we'll come along as coaches (and to improve the general quality of the acoustics.) otherwise, they'd better be prepared to do it on their own.

meanwhile, there are less than three weeks left before the AcadCom One Night Stand 2. I'd better get a move-on. at least i've already set a meeting with my deputies.

busy again. and the lit books are damned expensive. someone had better pay for the lolita, but i'm keeping the greene. :D free cut in eco tomorrow, yay-ness!
