Aren't old people supposed to be nice after having learned life's lessons and all that? I mean, generally I love old people. I love to sit and listen to their stories or just talk with them about whatever and have a laugh because, let's face it, most old people ARE funny

The best thing I can think of to say is a pearl of wisdom given to me by one of my great heroes, Billy Connolly, on the supposed niceness of old people:

'Young arseholes have the tendency to become old arseholes.'

Unfortunately for every nice little old person, there's one old person who believes that they are always right and that the world owes them everything because they're old.

In the meantime, it's okay. She'll be dead soon.

She's definitely always been an arsehole.

I firmly believe evil does not die. She keeps going into the hospital and I keep crossing my fingers and toes that she won't make it, but then the old bitty always pulls through like an effin' trooper.

Meanwhile, I've lost the most wonderful, gracious, courteous people I've ever known. It's not fair.

Btw, I won't be around for a bit cos we had someone come out to install wireless and then after he started the process we found out that they could't finish the ungrade because we had to make the bill current. So I gotta go over there monday morning and pay the bill then HOPEFULLY they'll bring their butts back over there and I can finally get my wireless set up.
