thoughts on flights
I bought a plane ticket to fly to San Diego in August. I am scheduled to be there August 3rd to 21st. I should be staying in the UC area, so hopefully I'll get to see a lot of people while I am there. It should be a good trip.
Yesterday I spoke to somebody who is going to Europe, flying an Air France flight. On the exact same type of plane that went down off the coast of Brazil. That's got to be a bit of a scary thought. Statistically flying is very safe, but it's still a bit of a strange thought to know that one could have been on a plane that went down. Though I guess it's always something that feels like it only happens to other people.
