weekend retreat
So my three day weekend is drawing to a close. It has been a strange but fun and relazing one. I got off work friday night and went to meet Genn for dinner. Then we went to Reading to drop her car off. Spent like 2-3 hours talking with Genn's mom and getting to know her and Genn's sisters, then wer headed back exhausted. Saturday we woke up along with Tim and Nykee, breakfasted on pancakes and hung around watching Bond movies. Timm made cheesecakes while I made tacos for dinner. Nykee's attempt at a "girl's night" kinda backfired as Tim and I ended up staying around adding too much testosterone to the mix ;). Yesterday we hung around watching movies and shit agaibn, went to the grocery store together and came back and Tim made burgers. After a while we went stir crazy so we called up Jeff and Krysta and went over there for a bit.
The whole thing was bizare because we did everything as two couples, right down to going and visiting our friends, another young couple, and playing with their kid. Genn pointed out we have been hanging out with the 'young family' crowd a lot more lately. It's very bizare. I'm not sued to this, but it seems very right.
