On our way to Centre...
Since my family are tech geeks I am able to get online in the car on the way to Centre to watch my sister graduate. It's cool. :) I thought I would post something because I am not sure how often I will get the chance to update as the days move closer to July 24th. ::sigh::
I always liked the month of July, but now it sucks. :)
PMBR was OK. If you haven't done it yet or if you are just starting be ready to be EXHAUSTED by the end. You are cramming in a TON of information - but I highly recommend it because it was EXTREMELY helpful. I learned a lot. And I think getting to practice was unbelievably helpful.
I did 18 questions in the car on the way down. I will probably do some more on the way back up. Cochran was very clear about the fact that we are not going to be able to do 50 questions per day. She said that that just isn't possible. And frankly, in Ohio, 2/3 of the bar exam are essays (MPT and the 12 essays) so the focus isn't as heavy on the MBE (the multiple choice) as it is in some states. In some states, you can score high enough on the MBE that your essays don't matter. So the MBE is definitely more important in some states.... not Ohio. :)
I have this week off before I begin BAR/BRI a week from Monday. I am going to finish wedding plans (book a limo, photographer, and HOPEFULLY find a damn florist.) That is the one thing I cannot find. Sigh... a florist.
I am still missing three-four grades. I don't know if they are going to give us bar prep though, so I am mainly missing three. Trademarks, Bus Orgs, and Cyberspace. I must express my disappointment with Lech for taking so damn long. :) He had my paper two weeks before FINALS. Get that stuff graded! Gah! :)
Anyway, that's about it. We are getting closer to Centre and I am going to shut this thing down and start taking pictures. :)
