i got the nina simone box set. well, kind of. i'm sure there's a much more detailed box set. however, i got the one i wanted. with the eight albums she put out on the phillips record lable. yes, like phillips-magnavox. craziness.
i love every single goddamned song it. it even has 'mississippi goddam'. oooh, it's goodness.
i've become a huge fan of 'plain gold ring'. that's the best. that and 'be my husband'. and 'feeling good'. it goes on. the whole thing is fantastic.
