Pictures from Maisey's 1st birthday party!!!
Saturday was fun, even though I was running around like I lost my head. Lots of people came over for the party. There was a ton of kids all over the place. My step-dad was the self-proclaimed "Grill Master," which means food wasn't done cooking until like 3:00 pm. Hahaha. Maisey got a bunch of cool stuff, some new toys, but mostly clothes! I love little girl clothes... She's going to be the best dressed baby at daycare. (Not that she isn't already... LOL!) I am a dumbass and I forgot a candle for her cake, so someone grabbed one of the candles off my dining room centerpiece and used that, which was pretty funny. Maisey didn't even make a mess with her cake, which was good because she didn't need a bath afterward, but it's so cute when kids get covered with cake and icing head to toe. Quite a few people were nice enough to help out getting my house back in order before they left. I didn't really have much to clean up. I wish I could have spent more time talking to people like Rashonda and Bobbi, but it's hard to just sit back and socialize at things like birthday parties I guess. Tina took Jhonen with her afterward and he spent the night at Mike's house, so it was just me, Maisey, Aaron and Miah left at my house for the night.
I was so whooped after the party, but we drove to Tiffin so I could get my bridesmaid's dress pinned since it needs altered. I finally got to see Shandee's new house, which is pretty nice. Raina is so cute and she's getting so big! I averted my eyes when she started stripping, though. LMAO. I didn't even recognize Josh. He's lost so much weight, he doesn't even look like the same person anymore.
The kids stayed up until 10:00 at night on Saturday night, which I just could not believe. I was so tired, I don't even remember falling asleep. My head hit the pillow and I was out. Sunday was a nice day. Spent a lot of it outside playing with the kids, and we took a walk up to McDonald's. Time went by way too fast if you ask me. The boys left and Jhonen came home a couple hours later.
Everything inside and outside of my house is almost entirely back to normal. I tried putting away the big jumping thing that's out in the yard, but the bottom of it has slugs all over it so I guess that will have to wait until my step-dad can come over and get it back in the garage. But, other than that, everything looks good. I just have a ton of trash to take out tomorrow night!
The race got postponed yesterday because of rain. It will be on a noon today, so I better finish up here so I can spend the rest of the day in front of the TV! Hahaha.
