My 2010 Books

1. Prep - Curtis Sittenfeld. Loved Lee. Love Curtis Sittenfeld's writing. General love-fest for this book.
2. Generation A - Douglas Coupland Alright, but not as good as some of his older stuff. Bit disappointed
3. Twilight - Stephanie Meyer Why do people fancy Edward Cullen? Why is Bella allowed to exist as a heroine? Why didn't her editor sort out so many of the issues? And why is it still a little addictive? Hate
4. On the Road to Mr. Right - Belinda Jones (re-read) I want to do this road trip
5. The California Club - Belinda Jones (re-read) By-product of minor California obsession. Made obsession with going to California worse. Whoops
6. The American Wife - Curtis Sittenfeld Again, I bloody love Curtis Sittenfeld. SO good
7. Last Chance Saloon - Marian Keyes Alright, but the characters were no Walsh family
8. The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky Interesting. An easy read, but I'm not sure how much I actually enjoyed it. The characters were almost too weird
9. The Paradise Room - Belinda Jones I should stop reading Belinda Jones. Especially books set in Tahiti. And especially with characters who don't know how bloody luck they are to get to go to Tahiti. Pfft
10. Norwegian Wood - Haruki Marakami Immense! Suprised by the amount of sex in it, but still brilliant
11. Cafe Tropicana - Belinda Jones Last holiday read, OK? You're allowed to read Belinda Jones on a beach. Better than Paradise Room but still never going to be as good as California Club. The characters are too samey now..
12. One Day - David Nichols.
