Anomalies of the Mundane! at the disco
Just a few things that made my usually boring Tuesday more unusual/exciting:
Getting invited to the Ted Leo show on Sunday! Woot!
Eating Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, which I have never done before...they were pretty yummy
Stephanie - my mother's girlfriend was walking to the library and asked me if I needed anything returned. I gave her the Virgin Suicides. I was glad she didn't ask me how it was. Instead she only asked if I read it. My sister is 13, the same age as Cecilia and she is going through a similar experience the rest of the Lisbon sisters went through when they were "locked up". Actually, the only similarity is my sister not being able to talk to boys and whatnot...and being grounded all the time. Then again, I was thinking maybe she should read it.
Almost rear end someone as they foolishly pull out into oncoming highway traffic
- it was funny though...after I skidded and almost hit the idiot, I drove away with a rather nonchalant demeanor as if nothing happened and continued bobbing my head to the beat of Ted Leo on my way to class
I was early and got to see my instructor walk in. With her jacket and hat on, she reminded me of Sophie, from the movie Howl's Moving Castle. Cute movie.
Watching this guy playing an imaginary piano on his desk...it looked like he knew what he was doing...it was fascinating
After getting home from class, I go to put on my pjs:
- 1st thermal smells like an ashtray - eww
- 2nd thermal smells like beer - Haha that's what I get for throwing my clothes on the floor after a night with the guys .....I should probably get a hamper
Spill contents of a hot chocolate pouch all over the kitchen floor
Shave part of a carrot into my ramen noodles so that I can twirl the shavings and noodles with my fork - haha it turned out to be a pretty good idea
Eating the rest of the carrot while I walk in the dark up to my room, repeating in my head "what's up doc?"
