so, i don't know if this is the same for other people, but I like rainy days. Not just because there is rain (oh my god it's awesome, pluviophiles unite), but because there is a facinating change in my perception of space shortly before it happens.
Now, I don't mean that things become disproportional and it's like some odd form of psychadelic drug-trip without the drugs, as fun as that may be; I mean that there seems to be a sense of more atmosphere in the area that gives me the sense that objects are closer than they normally would appear on a socially acceptable "nice day". Which is probably the case considering humidity....-_-;
It is this "closing in" sensation that is what I like about these types of days, because it gives the impression that I am in just another room in my house (just, you know, larger). Which is good, as i have never understood peoples fondness for bright sunny days and the giant vacuum of thinner space they do like to create.
That being said, high humidity plus hot days are a nightmare of inhumane proportions, but they do (at least) leave me feeling like i'm grounded. I, on "nice days", always feel like I'm going to float off, or at the very least misjudge distances between objects; this "lack of spatial grounding" usually results in hilariously (to other people) awkward (to me) points in time where I either a. run into something, or b. hit someone accidently.
also ingore the lack of grammar,
rain space,
i.e. too lazy to care
