I haven't updated my journal for awhile, partially because most recent events have felt rather routine and predictable, and partially because it seemed like Livejournal was conquered and assimilated by an army of Twitter feeds and other miscellaneous cross-posts. However, there have been a few noteworthy occurrences and other reflections recently,

It's a faaaaaake! I was watching Season 6 this evening with Erin, and the "It's Reeeeeeeeal!" episode happened to be one of them... for some reason, I thought it was Season 5. It's almost as over-acted as Marina Sirtis' reaction to Octopus Boy.

Yeah, I totally understand Kaliri's decision, but I still deem it unfortunate, even if ultimately beneficial for her.

As for contacts, I have an appointment on Monday to get my actual prescription, which I assume will be similar, if not identical, to the prescription I currently have. I really want a gold pair and/or an orange pair, but I doubt my optometrist has those options available. They do have some intriguing colors, like purple and gray, so I might try those out while looking for other colors elsewhere.

Hopefully, I'll be able to take the MSF course in a few weeks... as being depending on Erin or public transportation to get out of Davis has been increasingly frustrating and taxing. Besides, hopefully it will mean more opportunities to visit you.

Speaking of more Cock time, I'll get to see you tomorrow. I totally had costume fail with my original idea, but I'll throw together something Star Trek-esque for the festivities tomorrow.
