on bananas

This morning I threw away a banana because it had a tiny bruise, and it made me feel so guilty. I mean, there are people starving all over the world, and there are people spending most hours of every day on a hot banana plantation pulling bananas just like mine-it’s never ending work-and I have no qualms about just throwing it away because of a tiny brown spot. I think that one thing at a time, God is giving me perspective and reviving me.

I'm glad this weekend is over. Drama is not my bag.

I am going to study abroad in Ghana. Yessss!
