House inspections and such.

House is coming along... but the sellers are real jerks. They're extremely cheap, and don't want to fix anything - including the place where the bathtub is thinking about falling through the floor a little bit, and the bit of roof where I could punch right through easily it if I tried. And they've done like all the repairs themselves since the got the place a year ago... and done them the absolute cheapest way possible. Like the guy put in termite sticks... except like 2 feet apart instead of the 6 inches they're supposed to be. Riiight. And he installed the laundry sink where it blocks off the crawl space and was griping about having to move it for the inspectors to get in, even tho the contract specifically stated they had to have access. He said they should pay him for moving his own thing. And on top of that, he dumped drain water on the floor, and said "who cares" even tho the other guys had to crawl in it. Not that I found any of that seriously irritating or anything.

The house, though, is pretty good. It's just the people selling it that are pains in the butt. Its a good thing there are real estate agents becuase I wouldn't deal with those people without them. There's cracked glass places, but it's not a big deal really, and we didn't ask them to fix a whole host of little stuff. Just the major places where the house is rotting out or falling apart. From water damage that was "fixed". Yeah, right. SO you fix the spot by the chimney where water is leaking in, but you just kinda nail a board across the damaged area caused by the leak, and you call it fixed? And then it's sagging, and growing things and it's not a problem. Right? (And the people are too fat to get up into the attic to see that. The attic only admits fairly average people at most.)

Ohwell. In the end, we get a house, right?
