haven't posted in a while...so here it go.
so my recital went really well. i'm glad that the people were there went. there are a lot of this people at this school who think i'm just some dumb trombone player who likes to play loud all the time. understandably so since the only time i'm heard in an orchestra is when i'm playing loud dynamics. oh well, enough about that. a lot of people couldn't make it, and it's all good....cuz i know they would have gone if they could. ok enough about that.
so i got reamed by my conducting professor on tuesday because i never went to class. he embarrassed me in fron of the whole class while i was conducting. the thing that pissed me off was that the girl that went after me sucked and missed so much more shit....he said, "good job...perfect" to her. i wish i was a cute korean with a vagina and huge boobs sometimes. so after class he talks to me....and says he was very offended by my conducting. but for a reason that surprised me. he said i had real talent for it. and he was offended because i was wasting it. made me feel good. i'm gonna real kick my own ass to do well on my final. and maybe keep pursuing the whole conducting thing...on the side of course.
today was amy's bday. for all those who don't know, amy is like my best friend out here. there's NOTHING she doesn't know about me. she's my angel on earth...love her to death. got her wasted tonight at hotel fig....oh yeah....along with myself and many others. nick had to drive kate home tonight....haha i love drunks.
this weekend is my bro's bday so me and a couple SC peeps are driving down to san diego. should be fun...he will no longer be a teenager on saturday....'bout time.
oh yeah and i'm going to oberlin's commencement this year!!! get ready...the shortbus is coming to town!!! TAU BETA NU 4 LIFE!!!
