College has been pretty entertaining so far, other than the fact that i'm pretty much failing chemistry at the moment and i have a mid-quarter exam on wednesday. This weekend we had a retreat for horticulture. The 7 of us and Bud (our professor person thingy....head of horticulture) went to camp st. croix friday/saturday. Pretty much just hung out getting to know each other and sitting around a bonfire til 1am on friday, then saturday consisted of team building activities that were quite predictable but still mildly fun in a strange way. i must say, the hort freshman are a strange group of kids, but its good to know i fit in lol. Professor Markhardt (Bud) is pretty cool too, not the stereotypical stuck up professor i thought all professors would be (i mean.....he has us call him bud (which is his first name) instead of professor....not QUITE like my other teachers). so basically other than chemistry, i'm loving everything about school. except that math starts tomorrow. gah...i don't even know what hall its in cuz webct hasn't been updated in a while, and the math teacher never posted what room our class is in....i think i remember hearing something about it being in Akerman Hall.......so i'm really hoping its in akerman hall.....and that my teacher speaks english cuz half of them don't. oye.
