So the other day while on Wikipedia, I was reading the little tid-bits about Ozzy's albums. I came to The Ultimate Sin, which is a personal favorite, and come to find out that the album has been deleted from the catalog and will not be produced anymore. I was shocked. Millions of people in the future will never hear this album. The madness!
I can hear the snickering out there about this. But seriously, this album is under-rated. Some of the finest of 80's metal. Ozzy has even stated in an interview I read from Metal Edge, claiming it was his least favorite because he was never satisfied on the final mix. I can understand why, at times it sounds kinda airy like there is something missing.
Oh well I guess. At least some of us have the last copy of it. Pass it through the generations, make backups, keep the original alive.
I've been listening to Ozzy a lot since Jose left. Comfort music.
