levade Monster
Has recently reclaimed its rightful place as a primary owner of my soul. This is a very good thing, because it's the most brilliant manga I know of (and a damn good, wonderfully accurate anime). ...Of course, "a very good thing" is based on the assumption my soul is in Tenma's hands. If it's in Johan's...we are all so screwed.
dramadramaduck My first lj rp! Where I picked up the Orlando nickname! Where I have been playing for over two years! Where I still have nine characters (yes I'm an addict shut up)!
Books
Reading is good for the soul. Especially if it's Helprin. Or West. Or Pratchett. Or Wynne-Jones. Or Le Carre. Or Nix. Or...
Writing
I should really do more of this! I have ideas, but all I write these days is school stuff. ): ...Unless you count rp and related drabbles, haha. I have a great appreciation for good writing, though! (Just today, I was reading this part of Smiley's People, and there was this lovely bit where...)
Sanity
Arguably I do not have this! But I appreciate its presence, and especially wish it would be better utilized in political discourse and government policy.

pretzelcoatl Spies
I seem to have a longstanding love for good spy stories. And by that, I mean "people being very clever" rather than "people using gadgets" (Bourne, not Bond). This love has been made much stronger by John le Carre, miniseries based on John le Carre, classic movies, more recent movies, and especially a little series which may surprise you, the Bourne movies.
Feminism
I'm a sucker for that whole "people working on an equal basis" thing.
Otherland
One of the best book series I have ever read! It is so wonderfully built, in regards to both plot and world (the worldbuilding O_O) and has so many enthralling characters! Like Orlando! And said cast of enthralling characters is ethnically diverse and nicely gender balanced! And come on, how can you not love a sci-fi series which directly references Blade Runner?
Cinnamon rolls
I will have you know that it is entirely your fault that there is now dough for cinnamon rolls in the fridge.
MAKING ME WANT TO READ BOOKS EVEN THOUGH MY LIST IS TOO BIG ALREADY DAMN YOU
THAT IS A SENTENCE, ANDY. YOU FAIL AT MEME. And you should be reading Keys to the Kingdom. And Sunshine. And Otherland. And many other things, like Michelle Sagara West and Mark Helprin and John le Carre. I REGRET NOTHING, MWAHAHAHA!
