I really don't think you can be blamed for that. They should make a "just the battles" version of it.
But of course~
1. I seriously love the movies. That's basically what it comes down to. Bourne's actually not my favorite character, that's Pam Landy. But I became determined to do something with those movies, and I would have had to make up too much out of whole cloth to play Pam at DDD, so I decided to try out Bourne.
2. His practicality. While he does have his (quite understandable) moments of frustration and depression, he usually approaches his problems like this, "Okay, so this is the problem. What can I do to fix it?"
3. He tries to keep a lot to himself, believing that it's his problem or responsibility and he shouldn't bother others with it. (Marie finds this very exasperating.)
4. He is way too easy to write. It's pretty much third nature. The man is very firmly entrenched in my head, God only knows how.
5. I think he comes across especially well in the conversations on the secrets posts.
6. I think there's a meeting over coffee with Cori and Edgey approaching~
