Evidently a romance novelist lifted an entire article on the black-footed ferret written by a nature writer.  She inserted it as post-coital dialog between the pioneer heroine and the Lakota chief who steals her heart in "Shadow Bear".  Newsweek has a piece by the nature writer and it's a riot.  Enjoy!
