[ooc: Somewhat meta; meant to take place just after this universe-jumping convo. Bart's mad. Like... madder than mad, and a little depressed. He's acting out majorly here. Please beware of cursing and tantrum-like behavior as it progresses.]

Twice in one night.

Twice in one night, he'd somehow encountered people from different worlds.

He didn't know how it was possible, or even that it was possible, but it had happened. He was beginning to wonder if his highspeed internet connection was somehow tapped into the highest speed of them all, the speed force itself.

The first time, it had been no big deal. It had been some strange guy who recognized him, and had identified himself as Clark's clone. Bart supposed it was possible... maybe. Or maybe the guy was just crazy. He wasn't sure.

Oh, but the second time... the second time was the one that made his blood boil. A girl had come to him, and had basically gotten a little smart with him, and had ended up revealing she was Ollie and Chloe's daughter. Chloe. His Chloelicious. And Ollie.

It seemed impossible. Maybe it should have been. Chloe and Ollie. Married. With two kids. He couldn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it.

He'd been sad at first. Completely heartbroken, even. He'd actually even cried a little, though Bart was a little too manly to admit that. Then he'd gotten a little angry. Pissed, even. And now? He was fuming.

Oliver, of all people? Chloe wasn't even his type! He tended to go for the busty brunettes, like Lois, or the bitchy redheads, like that Tess girl he seemed so hot on at the moment. And sure, he had to admit, he'd seen Oliver check Chloe out, but honestly, which of them hadn't? Chloe Sullivan was a beautiful girl. A very beautiful girl. But just checking a girl out didn't have much to do with love or romance. If it did, Bart was in love with every hot girl he'd ever let his eyes wander over. He knew for a fact none of his pals felt that way about Chloe, with the exception of maybe Clark. He wasn't blind. He could see how Clark looked at her. And it probably would have bothered him, but it didn't. It didn't bother him because he was pretty damn sure that Clark would never even have the balls to go there with Chloe. That big dumb alien boy scout had lost his chance a long-ass time ago, and Bart would be damned before he'd let him get in the way of his feelings for Chloe. But Ollie? What the hell?

Bart would still feel his blood pressure steadily rising as he exited his room, seeking some comfort food. Something, anything would be good. He didn't even care. He just needed food, and he needed it fast.

As he neared the kitchen, he noticed Chloe and Oliver, sitting just a few feet away, Chloe's laptop in front of her, Oliver pointing something out on the screen. Bart stopped in place, finding himself glaring at the side of his boss's head long and hard. If he'd had heat vision like Clark, he'd probably have made that bleached blonde head blow up by now.

As though she felt his presence, Chloe glanced up, shooting a smile in Bart's direction. "Hey, Bart."

He said nothing, and it was then that Ollie looked back at him. "Hey, Bart, what's up?"

Bart stood there, seething, glaring, silently, until finally, he exploded. Not literally, of course, because that would have been extremely messy.

"I HATE YOU, YOU JOLLY GREEN BASTARD!" he shouted, before storming off into the kitchen, so fast, he made Chloe's hair blow up behind her.

Chloe's brows furrowed and she glanced over at Oliver. "What was that about? What did you do, Oliver?"

Oliver shrugged, shaking his head. "Beats the hell out of me."
