Disclaimer: Dan Harmon owns it. The show might end with Abed/Annie babies for all I know.
AN: This one is going out to
teruel_a_witch and

(
That's right, it's smut! Well, smut...ish...like )
I was just about to turn in last night when I decided to check M/M one more time. MY FATAL MISTAKE. After seeing your post could I then wait until this morning and just turn in? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
This is going to sound downright crazy coming from me, but I'm glad for the coitus interruptus. Or rather, near-coitus interruptus. I agree with Annie's initial reaction - they really need to talk openly before taking things to that level.
So, no Rich hate here. And I'm wondering how much of a view he got before Jeff ducked down behind Annie's bed. Hee.
That's not to say that I didn't thoroughly enjoy what came before. Or didn't come, as it turned out. HA.
Sorry, I'm a little loopy this morning. Back to the review.
“Was it just because you were drunk and I looked hot last night?”
Ahahaha. Oh Jeff, how do you manage to be so egotistical and insecure at the same time? I cracked up at that line.
And of course, I LOVED this bit:
“More specifically, every time you…force me into a glee club or…” He cut off and took a breath, but Annie found she couldn't. “…use your feminine wiles to get your way with me or… you look at me, I ...want to.”
No wonder Annie jumped him...
“I don’t know,” he replied to her without waiting for her to ask and Annie nodded. “But whatever we’re doing I…want it.”
Jeff FINALLY says he wants to be with her, or close to, and of course, it happens right before the, as you put it, excrement comes in contact with the spinning turbine. EVIL. lol
Oh, Annie. I want to say more about her reading that contract, but all I've got right now is 'Oh, Annie'.
I don't know when you're posting next - and I don't think I've ever wanted more chapters of anything as much as I want it right now - but I think I want to go back and read all of these chapters again all together. I have thoughts, but I want to be sure I haven't missed anything.
I feel like this ride just got kicked into high gear. I can't wait!

You know what's funny? Ejaculation humor. Every time.
I think I'm going to post again on Sunday or possible Monday, and you are right about the spinning turbine. I want to hear whatever thoughts you're thinking about having.
Thanks so much for reading!

I am choosing to take that as a compliment that people are more interested in them doing things right than in some skin on skin action.
You should. I definitely want the J/A sexy times, but when both of them are clear and on the same page.
I have some thoughts about Pierce and his motivations. I have to meditate a bit longer on what that language in the contract means, and I'm not sure I caught all of your hints, so I'm going to read again and think it through a bit more. I gave up on guessing awhile back, but Pierce has been such a wildcard so far, I can't help but speculate a little. I'll definitely share when I have it all straight in my head!

Well, I did my re-read. And I'm not sure I know anything more than I did before. lol
I've been trying to figure out Pierce's motivation, particularly since the contract reveal. So these are my thoughts:
My guess is Pierce knew that if any of the group was going to make the effort to bring him back into the fold, it was going to be Annie. I'm still confused on the timing of the tickets, since it doesn't appear that much time has lapsed between his exit and Annie's arrival at Hawthorne manor. I suppose he could have just driven to a travel agent straight from GCC and bought two tickets.
Anyway...Because I still believe that Annie is his favorite, I don't think he would toy with Annie's emotions in that way unless he was trying to give her something he thought she wanted. And this is where I'm of two minds. I initially got the impression that he always knew Annie would ask Jeff and he would turn her down, which in turn prompted the offer to Rich (He got there when, like the next day? Presumably he would need some time to organize things before leaving on vacation.) So, Pierce witnessed Jeff's blow-off in 'Paradigms' and probably figured a holiday alone with Rich in a romantic place like Italy would make her feel better. He probably knew she was hurt by Jeff's dismissal and the reveal that he and Britta were sleeping together.
Plus, my guess is that he knows what everyone else in the group knows - Jeff has feelings for Annie but won't admit it. If his tweet is anything to go by. So, sending Rich gives the added bonus of torturing Jeff. And I think whatever Pierce's affection for Jeff, it's not enough to overcome the hurt of rejection so he's probably happily twisting the knife.
That is, if he was expecting Jeff to get jealous and head to Italy to get between them. Which the ready made contract seems to suggest is the case. Pierce is much cleverer than the group gives him credit for, but could he really manipulate both Annie and Jeff that well?
So, now I'm starting to wonder if Jeff's visit wasn't a surprise. It appears that Camilla has been recruited to execute this larger plan, and if Rich is correct, then Camilla expected both he and Annie but not Jeff. If Pierce is playing some kind of game here, moving them around like chess pieces, then why wouldn't he keep Camilla in the loop?
The contract definitely seems to be a way to stick it to Jeff. It's as though Pierce always knew that he wouldn't be able to honor it and figured he's up the stakes to make it that much more painful. I'm not sure what Jeff was offered to keep away from Annie, but my guess is that he has to pay up the $10k if he doesn't keep up his end of the agreement. But what was the carrot? Was Jeff just asking for the location of his house in Italy? Was that Pierce's leverage? I'm still not sure...
It makes sense to me that Pierce would think that pulling something like this would be perfectly okay if it meant that it would make Annie happy in the long run, even if it meant torturing Jeff in the process (again, added bonus). And it's obvious that Jeff would not have acted on his feelings otherwise. Pierce obviously cares about the group, even if he's been a total douche this year, and this could be a very messed up way of making it up to them. He hasn't kicked Troy out, he lets Abed use his place for filming and of course, he gave Annie the trip to Italy and tons of money to spend.
I know I said I would post when I had it all straight in my head, and it's clear from my ramblings that that is still not the case. Hee. Sorry about my word vomit. I'm pretty sure none of this makes sense. I hope this doesn't make your head spin. :-)

I was checking to see if I missed an update - computer issues yesterday - when I had another thought. The pool! How could I forget about the pool! Britta is in Abed's movie and she pushes people into a pool. Then people get pushed into a pool at Annie's party. Coincidence? Maybe Pierce wasn't sure if Jeff would get on that plane after all, hence Camilla's surprise at his arrival. Hmm.
